The G.W. Carver Interpretive Museum is a community museum focused on educating individuals of all ages, races and creeds on the rich historical contributions of African-Americans.  We aim to provide a welcoming environment that allows you, our guest, to be inquisitive and enlightened.  Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is committed to providing you with an exhilarating experience that will compel you to return time and time again!  The Carver Museum features a Social Progress Heroes Timeline, two permanent Exhibits: “Designing the World We Live In” and “Black Scientists, Inventors, and Explorers,” as well our Carver Room (which of course is dedicated to the achievements of Dr. George Washington Carver). We also feature temporary exhibitions from both local and national artists. Our goal is to bring history to life, and we hope that you will join us for a visit soon!
